We specialize
in the overhaul and repair of the KI-256 Flight Director Indicator,
KI-525A Horizon Situation Indicator (HSI) and the KG-102A
Directional Gyro.

KI-256 FLIGHT COMMAND INDICATOR
-
3 inch
flight command indicator that was originally supplied by Bendix/King
now Honeywell as a component of the KFC-200 KFC-250 KFC-275 and
KFC-150 Flight Control Systems. The KI256 may also be integrated
into other manufacturers AP / FCS systems.

Contains a vacuum driven attitude
gyro and presents a display of aircraft pitch and roll attitudes

Hidden single cue command pointers
pop into view to create a highly intuitive command information
presentation from the computer flight director.

Contains
pitch and roll pickoffs which provide industry standard AC attitude signals to a KC-295, KCP-299, or other flight computer.

Provides a
Decision Height lamp to display the signal sent from a radar
altimeter

KI-525A
PICTORIAL NAVIGATION INDICATOR

Pictorial Navigation Indication
component of the KCS-55A compass system which also includes the
KG-102A Directional Gyro, KMT-112 Magnetic Azimuth Transmitter, and
KA-51B Slaving Accessory

Intelligent slaved gyro compass heading system operates in unslaved
(manual) mode or in normal slaved mode where the gyro is
automatically fast aligned to the flux detector heading at start up
and continues in normal slaved mode afterwards.

Optional bootstrap (XYZ synchro) of
ships heading is available to provide heading information to RMI,
Stormscopes, Radar, and other appliances. See part number dash
variants shown below for details. This synchro can be added to
existing units which are not already so equipped.

Presents a display of the horizontal
navigation situation including the manual selection of OBS for VOR,
GPS and other area navigation appliances.

Provides
OBS resolver (30 Hz or 400 Hz sine/cosine)
for VOR, GPS and other area navigation appliances. See part number
dash variants shown below for details.

Provides
flight course signals (DC course datum) for autopilot system
tracking with the King / Bendix autopilots. Optional interface boxes
are available to convert King / Bendix DC course datum to other
manufacturers autopilot course datum signals.

Includes
glideslope pointers which pop into view when the glideslope signal
is unflagged during an ILS approach.

KG-102A

Remote
mounted directional gyro system with built in AC power convertor,
compass slaving logic and stepper motor outputs designed to drive
the KI-525A indicator in KCS-55A compass system. May also be used to
drive a Sandel EFIS display.

The integral signal processing
electronics receives magnetic azimuth information from the KMT-112
Magnetic Azimuth Transmitter to provide a gyro-stabilized magnetic
heading to KI-525A Pictorial Navigation Indicator.

Contains internal power supply which
provides excitation voltages for KMT-112 and positive and negative
DC voltages for KI-525A and KA-51B
