Warranty Policy

 Aerolab  Aviation Services, Inc. warrants each instrument to be free of defects in workmanship and materials used in accomplishing a repaired or overhauled unit.

 

The provisions of this warranty are as follows:

 

  1. Units overhauled by Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. carry a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment.

  2. Units repaired by Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. carry a 3-month warranty from the date of shipment.

    • Units that have been repaired by Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. will cover the repaired section and parts used in the repair only. Each work order will (in detail) describe all work done and parts used in order to repair and return the unit to service in accordance with the manufacturer´┐Żs specifications.

    • Units that have been overhauled by Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. will cover the parts normally replaced during an overhaul. Examples (but not limited to) of parts NOT included in a normal overhaul are synchros, motors, transducers, rotors, switches, circuit boards and their components, frames, etc. If during the warranty period any such part not covered under Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. warranty would fail there would be a bench test, repair and re-certification fee.

  1. All warranties will be invalidated if there is any evidence of the following:

    • Evident physical damage, mishandling or activated shock watch.

    • Damage due to improper packaging by customer if sent in for warranty consideration.

    • Unauthorized repair or alterations.

    • Misuse or improper installation.

    • Missing or tampered warranty seals.

  1. Packaging and handling of a units being returned for warranty consideration must be packaged equivalent to the original packaging that you received the unit in originally. Damage due to improper packaging will invalidate your warranty.

  2. Any unit repaired or exchanged by Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. during a warranty period and returned the warranty is continued from the warranty period of the original repair or overhaul. The warranty does not start over under any circumstance.

  3. Any unit returned for warranty consideration and is found to be within the manufacturers specifications will be returned to you with a charge for the bench test of the unit as well as shipping charges.

There are no implied warranties by Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc., which extend beyond the descriptions as above. The extent of Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. warranty is limited to just the repaired, overhauled and/or the exchanged unit. The customer will not hold Aerolab Aviation Services, Inc. responsible for damages outside this repair nor to any damages to any aircraft upon installation.
